LTFRB Chief James Jacob Resigns

LTFRB Chief James Jacob Resigns -- After almost 2 years in office as Chairman of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), James Jacob decided to file a resignation to President Benigno Aquino on Tuesday. Jacob explained:
..I have come to the conclusion that I cannot, under prevailing circumstances and by my standards, satisfactorily perform the functions of Chairman of the LTFRB ..In the interest of our stakeholders'welfare, therefore I hereby tender my resignation effective end of March 2013.
The LTFRB is still not sure on who to replace Jacob with; The final verdict shall be coming from the Office of the President.
