Holy Week Weather Notes, Rains on the Way

Holy Week Weather Notes, Rains on the Way -- For the fellows who could be performing a quick trip to their provinces or maybe nearby towns for the holy week, bringing necessary rain gears looks like a basic thing for the Things-To-Bring list as rains and thunderstorms are expected to hit the Metro in the evening of Monday.
A light to moderate rains in the major ports of Luzon and Visayas could be underway today. Be extra careful if you would be using the ports of Batangas and Mindoro, as well as Aklan, Negros, Cebu, and Bohol. Similar notes should also be taken for the ports in Zamboanga and Cagayan de Oro.

Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) also warned about a thunderstorm over Metro Manila in the evening.

Due to easterlies and warm air coming from the Pacific Ocean, the said rains and thunderstorms may possibly cause local floods in the low-lying areas of Metro Manila.

Be mindful of the roads that you would be traversing, specially during night times. Also, I hope that you are already aware of the specific road sections / parts that the DPWH had announced to repair during the observance of Holy Week. (Photo: http://kevinlimbo.blogspot.com)
