DPWH to Repair National Roads in Metro Manila During the Holy Week

DPWH to Repair National Roads in Metro Manila During the Holy Week -- As road traffic is expected to be reduced in Metro Manila during the observance of Holy Week, the Department Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to repair some portions of the national roads. According to Secretary Rogelio L. Singson, the DPWH National Capital Region Office is going to repair at least 14 road sections from March 22 to 27.
Here is the list of the road sections that are to be supervised for repairs by different district offices of the department:

North Manila Engineering District Office
- Nicanor Reyes Street in Sampaloc, Manila from C. M. Recto to España

Quezon City First Engineering District Office
- Quirino Highway (southbound) from Hilltop to Belfast Street (2nd lane);
- Fairview Avenue (northbound) from Mindanao Extension to Milano Drive (4th lane);
- Mindanao Avenue (southbound) from Catleya Street to North Avenue (1st lane);
- EDSA (northbound) from Congressional Avenue to Access Road (5th lane);
- EDSA (southbound) from Cloverleaf to Oliveros Street (5th lane); and
- Regalado North Avenue (northbound) from Casmilan V to David Lim International Trading Corp. (2nd lane)
Some highways in Mandaluyong City will also be repaired, as listed below:
- Shaw Boulevard (westbound) between Guerrero Street and Araullo Street (inner lane);
- EDSA (northbound) beginning of Shaw Boulevard underpass to United Street
- EDSA (southbound) after Libertad Street to Potenciano Hospital will be manage by the First Metro Manila District Engineering Office.

2nd Metro Manila District Engineering Office
-  Makati City portion of EDSA: Northbound lane after Orense Street to Guadalupe Bridge, Southbound lane from Guadalupe Bridge to Bernardino Street

3rd Metro Manila District Engineering Office
-  Caloocan City segment of EDSA: Northbound lane from Asuncion Street to General Simon Street (lane 6), Southbound lane from Benin Street to Urbano Plata Street
