PLDT myDSL’s Best Commercial for me is…

PLDT myDSL’s Best Commercial for me is… -- It's been a while since I first saw a TV commercial for PLDT myDSL which featured a boy named Derek, who made a Youtube video of him singing "Anna Banana". The song goes like, "Anna Banana, I love you a bunch..". This somehow brought new avenues for PLDT's myDSL product to send a message to the Internet users about the Internet and inter-connectivity service that can be provided by the company.

To date, there have been four (4) commercial videos featuring Derek and the continuation of his journey as an aspiring Internet sensation, so to speak. PLDT devised an online contest that campaigned about the search for Derek's new Anna. Watch the said videos below:

Derek’s Anna Banana Song:

Derek got busted:

Aria is the new Anna Banana!:

Booster, the Lost Dog:
So, the PLDT myDSL’s Best Commercial for me is video No.4. Our of the 4 videos, the last one "Booster, the Lost Dog", best showed the family-sized connection and sharing in Derek's home. I am more particular in ensuring a family's stronger ties, either via technology or actual physical presence. The last video is a picture of a family trying to reach out to each other, after a certain fault. Apparently, David Lorenzo, the dad of Derek lost their dog and wanted to ask for an apology from his wife. The way he seek the help of his kids, including Aria (winner of the Search for Derek's New Anna promo) via Internet media is just cute and romantic. You can see what I mean when Mama Berns called her kids and husband to come down and just laugh about what happened.
All of those were possible with the use of PLDT myDSL. You can actually tune in to many more things that would come out of Lorenzo family's adventure with PLDT's myDSL. Just subscribe to PLDT myDSL Anna Banana YouTube Channel ( to do so.
Your home deserves unlimited sharing from the strong, reliable, family sized connection of myDSL. The strongest connections are at home, so visit to get your family connected today!
On the last note, I think I will be contemplating on looking at the possibilities of availing PLDT myDSL for some sort of an upgrade for my present Internet connection.
