Colegio de San Juan de Letran Suspends Classes on Jan. 9 for Nazarene Feast -- In view of the observance of the Feast of the Black Nazarene, Colegio de San Juan de Letran will be suspending its classes on January 9 (Wed). This is to avoid the possibly gigantic traffic volume that would be generated that day.
 
The suspension includes offices in Letran, to give way to the activities related to the occasion. For the motorists who would be bound to the area on Wednesday, you better choose your best route to avoid possible traffic jams and delay.

To those asking, classes and offices will be suspended on January 9, in anticipation of activities related to the Feast of (the) Black Nazarene
Due to the same event coming up, the University of Santo Tomas announced a suspension of classes in all levels on Jan 9.
Please be informed that classes shall be suspended on Jan 9, 2013 in observance of the Feast of the Black Nazarene (UST student council)
There will be procession of the image of the Black Nazarene in many areas of Manila including Sta. Cruz and Quiapo districts. Some eleven (11) million devotees are expected to swarm Manila for the yearly Feast of the Black Nazarene.
