Metro Manila Film Festival 2012 - Official List of Entries

Official List of Entries for Metro Manila Film Festival 2012 (MMFF) -- As per announcement in June this year, the official list of participating films was listed as eight (8), which will be competing under various genres including comedy, action, adventure, suspense-horror and drama-romance.

The list was actually announced by Metro Manila Development Authority Chairman Francis Tolentino. The MMFF will kick off on December 25.

The Official List of Entries for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2012:
  1. Conyo Problems -- (Comedy) Starred by Aljur Abrenica, Benjamin Alves, Michael Daez, Solenn Heusaff, Isabel Diaz, Bianca King and directed by Andoy Ranay
  2. El Presidente -- Biopic (Action) film from Cinema Concept International Inc. starring E.R. Ejercito and Cristine Reyes, directed by Mark Meily
  3. Mga Kwento ni Lola Basyang: Pedrong Walang Takot/Mariang Alimango -- (Adventure) from Unitel Productions Inc. and TV5. Starred by Richard Gomez, Paolo Contis, Iza Calzado, Rufa Mae Quinto, directed by Mark Meily and Chris Martinez
  4. Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote and Me -- (Action/Comedy) starring Sen. Bong Revilla Jr. and Vic Sotto with Judy Ann Santos as leading lady, Tony Y. Reyes as director. Producers: Octoarts Films, M-Zet Productions, Imus Productions, APT Entertainment and GMA Films
  5. The Strangers -- (Suspense-horror) from Quantum Films starring Enrique Gil, Enchong Dee and Julia Montes under the direction of Lawrence Fajardo
  6. Shake, Rattle and Roll 14 -- (Horror) Under Regal Entertainment starring Vhong Navarro, Dennis Trillo, Herbert Bautista, Carla Abellana, Lovie Poe, Janice De Belen and Iza Calzado, Directed by Chito Roño
  7. One More Try (working title) -- (Drama-romance) by Roel Bayani starring Dingdong Dantes, Zanjo Marudo, Angel Locsin and Angelica Panganiban. Produced by ABS-CBN and Viva Film
  8. Sisteraka -- (Comedy) starring Vice Ganda and Kris Aquino under the direction of Wenn Deramas, produced by ABS-CBN and Viva Films

  1. I am looking forward to watching El Presidente to re-acquaint myself with Pres. Emilio Aguinaldo. One More Try is also something I'd want to see.
