Pan de Manila Creates Christmas Paperbags

Pan de Manila Creates Christmas Paper bags -- As part of its way to celebrate Christmas season this year, Pan de Manila created new sets paper bags with  stunning one-of-a-kind artworks by Albert Magsumbol.
Under the theme "Makulay na Paskong Pinoy", Mr. Magsumbol featured some of his well-known papercut artworks, which consist of portraits of Christmas images like Simbang Gabi, and noche buena, blended with "Pinoy pastoral images like the bahay kubo, the kalabaw, folk games like pabitin and pagbasag ng palayok and timeless Filipino values like pagmamano and pagsasalo-salo."

Aside from that, Magsumbol's work pays homage to an almost dying craft on paper cutting. It is great that he is promoting the tradition by conducting workshops to children and adults who are interested to learn the art. Mari Sebastian, marketing manager of Pan de Manila said:
The holiday paper bag conveys that the pandesal inside is warm and best shared cheerfully to everyone. Make the Pan de Manila pandesal part of your Noche Buena feast

Indeed a work of art and at the same time, a green move with respect to the environment. It goes along with Quezon City's ordinance on the regulation of the use of plastic bags.
