November 30, 2012 is a Regular Holiday in the Philippines

November 30, 2012 Holiday falls on Friday, which means that there will be another long weekend for this month. The first one was during the all saints day / all souls day observance on Nov. 1 and 2.
November 30 marks one of the historical landmarks of the Philippines - the birth of the "Father of Philippine Revolution" Andres Bonifacio. The nationalist and lawyer Bonifaco was often called "the great plebeian" and "Father of the Katipunan". He later became the "Supremo" or Supreme Leader of the Katipunan movement - a group which called for the independence of the Philippines from Spanish colonial rule.

Bonifacio is considered by some historians to be the first President of the Philippines, though not officially recognized as such.

This holiday is mentioned in Proclamation No. 295, s. 2011 (DECLARING THE REGULAR HOLIDAYS, SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAYS, AND SPECIAL HOLIDAY (FOR ALL SCHOOLS) FOR THE YEAR 2012).

As of writing time, related traffic advisory has not yet been declared, should there be any.

So, as said, November 30, 2012 is a Regular Holiday in the Philippines. November 30 is Bonifacio Day.
