Clark Airport Reduces Terminal Fee for International Passengers

Clark Airport Reduces Terminal Fee for International Passengers -- Cost wise, this maybe a positive news for the international passengers using Clark Airport in Pampanga. While for the considerably critical minds, questions regarding the trade off between service quality and cost may arise. But then again, this is after all a cost reduction so why not?
The terminal fee reduction started on Friday last week that is, from P600 down to P540. That's a sounding 25 percent reduction to be exact.

Meanwhile, AirAsia believes that this move is a great help in increasing its air passenger traffic in the said terminal. AirAsia Inc. CEO Maan Hontiveros said:
Aside from our low fares, passengers flying out of Clark airport now enjoy the benefit of lower international passenger terminal fees than those traveling from NAIA, Cebu, Davao and other airports in the country. We have to commend CIAC for its effort in keeping our passengers happy by paying less airport fees.P150 pesos is a huge savings especially for budget travellers
I really look forward to using this air travel hub in the coming days or so. You too should make sure to put it in your travel options if you want to save on your terminal fee.
This is by far one of the similar news that I learned regarding our airports in the country, following the Manila International Airport Authority's (MIAA) mandate on all domestic carriers to collect the P200 DPSC or terminal fee.

In excess, Air Asia now flies daily to Hong Kong, Macau and Kula Lumpur Malaysia. A good deal for the travel junkies out there.

Kudos to Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) nonetheless!
